NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE - TWO (2) 14’X40’ LOFTED BARN WITH 4’ LOFTS

The Indian Health Service, Navajo Area, Northern Navajo Medical Center in Shiprock, NM intends to award a single source award with The Barnyard, LLC for two (2) 14’x40’ Lofted Barn with 4’ loft, steel French entry door RH outswing – flush panel, skylight 24x24 double dome, extra 10’ loft, Croissant SW 7716 main paint, white trim, dark green metal roofing.

The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 321992 – Prefabricated Wood Bldg Manufacturing with a Small Business Administration size standard of 500 employees.

The action is being accomplished using the principles of FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, particularly FAR Subpart 13.5, in accordance with 41 USC 1901, “…to promote efficiency and economy in contracting and to avoid unnecessary burdens for agencies and contractors...”, purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold may be solicited from one source if it is determined that the circumstances of the contract deems only one source available.

This Notice of Intent to Single Source is not a request for quotations and a solicitation will not be issued in conjunction with this Notice of Intent.
