Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source.                                                                                                   

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office - West, JBSA - Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract to Neuroptics Inc. under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 12.102(b), sole source, for the requirement for NeurOptics NPi-300 Pupillometer.

The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 339112- Surgical and Medical Instrument Manufacturing, SBA Small Business Size Standard: 1000 Employee.

Award will be made on or about 15 April 2026.

The solicitation number is W81K0026QA069 and is generated for the purpose of posting this notice. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract. The Contracting Officer determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonable available.

No requests for capability briefings will be honored as a result of this notice and any information provided will not be used as part of any subsequent solicitation requirement. No telephonic inquiries will be honored. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
