Offerors are advised that offers received from sources which are notgovernment-approved sources of supply, for this part(s), will be deemedtechnically unacceptable, and therefore ineligible for award. Any distributorsof approved source(s) MUST submit a copy of their authorized distributorletter, on the source's letterhead, to the buyer point of contact indicated onthe solicitation via email, at time of proposal submittal. Failure to providethe approved distributor letter will deem the proposal non-responsive andtechnically unacceptable and ineligible for award. This part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique designcapability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualifiedsource(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). Theapproved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge, or technicaldata that are not economically available to the Government, and the data orknowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternates source must qualify in accordance with the design control activity'sprocedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. Thequalification procedures must be approved by the Government engineeringactivity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. \
