BACKGROUND: Notice from the Department of Defense, Defense Logistics Agency, Strategic Acquisition Program Directorate (SAPD) at DLA Columbus, Ohio. The SAPD/ZAA Division is seeking capabilities packages of potential sources, including small businesses. This sources sought synopsis is published for market research purposes only, to identify potential sources capable of supplying the Government with the items in accordance with the requirements listed below. Please review the below National Stock Number (NSN) and provide any additional sources that can supply the item with an unknown demand.

NSN: 5963015902418 Item Name: Electronic Module, Standardized. The Acquisition Method Code (AMC) / Acquisition Method Suffix Code (AMSC) for the NSN listed above is “3/B”. AMC: Acquire, for the second or subsequent time, directly from the actual manufacturer. AMSC: B – This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. 

Responses to this Request for Information (RFI) are not considered offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. This RFI is for market research purposes only, respondents will not be individually notified of the results of any government assessments. This sources sought synopsis notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice.
