ON-SITE CALIBRATION OF COORDINATE MEASURING MACHINE (CMM)

The U.S. Army Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment Activity (USATA) has a requirement to provide preventive maintenance and calibration for one (1) Leitz Infinity Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (S/N: PMC430GA) from Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. (formerly Hexagon Metrology Inc.)  as the original equipment manufacturer. This solicitation, PANRSA-25-P-0000-014368, is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The U.S. Army Contracting Command-Redstone (ACC-RSA) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a contract to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc., 5 Circuit Drive, North Kingstown, RI 02852-7441, Commercial and Government Entity Code:1WUK4. This action is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), When the supplies or services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source, or, for DoD, NASA, and the Coast Guard, from only one or a limited number of responsible sources, and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements, full and open competition need not be provided.
Under the authority of (FAR) FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), this action is directed towards Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. The solicitation is issued as a RFQ to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc only. A Performance Work Statement (SOW) and any other documents pertinent to the requirement will be provided directly to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc in a separate document.
