No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications of various members of Small Business, 8(a), HUBZone, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), and Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB) to compete and provide an enclosed snowmobile trailer under a contract that meets the attached DRAFT specifications. A Request for Quote (RFQ) solicitation and firm fixed priced contract is contemplated depending upon the responses to this synopsis. This synopsis summarizes the requirements for the contractor to provide and conduct the manufacturer’s recommended detailed inspection of hoist gearbox and coupling and provide OEM oil change and new seals for each of two 10-ton overhead bridge cranes with performance at the Forest Products Laboratory (FPL), Madison, WI. See attached Statement of Work (SOW). All responses shall be submitted electronically to the Purchasing Agent, Christopher Hamilton at christopher.j.hamilton@usda.gov. At minimum responses should include a capabilities statement, and your SAM Unique Entity Identifier (UEI).
