PDD CSW VENDOR DAY(S) 2025

The U.S. Army Contracting Command – New Jersey – Soldier Lethality (CCNJ-SL), Picatinny Arsenal, NJ 07806-5000, on behalf of Project Manager Soldier Lethality, intends to solicit, negotiate and award a sole source contract to Alpha Group Industry’s, LLC (AGI), located at Cusseta, GA under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3205(c), as implemented by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), “Soliciting from a single source for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold,  to host Product Director Crew Served Weapons (PD CSW) fifth annual Vendor Demonstration Days.  The period of performance for this contract is November 4-5, 2025 and award will not exceed the Simplified Acquisition Threshold. 

Through market analysis, AGI is the only range identified within the Fort Benning area, during the requested timeframe, that can accommodate medium machine gun efforts/technologies and remote weapon station technologies.  Though other ranges exist, only AGI can accommodate the time frame required, able to host 200 participants / stakeholders live firing weapons, firing weapons up to 30  and 40 millimeter, and was within the Fort Benning vicinity. Without this range, size and live firing capabilities, PdD CSW would not be able to host the event; weapons suited for smaller ranges would not be in PdD CSW weapon portfolio.

An award to a vendor other than AGI would severely degrade PdD CSW’s goals for the event.  PdD CSW is responsible for current and future light, medium, and heavy machine guns, grenade machine guns, precision weapons systems, remote weapons stations, medium caliber machine guns and ground mounts. In addition, PdD CSW is responsible for their related target acquisition and fire-control products, binoculars, and the management of Non-Standard Weapons acquisition in support of Foreign Military Sales (FMS).  PdD CSW products are crucial to the success of the American Soldier on the battlefield. PdD CSW’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative and relevant small arms lethality to our Warfighters. PdD CSW’s vision is to be the premier provider of integrated small arms weapon systems for our Warfighters, and our Allies and Partners. PdD CSW cannot accomplish these goals, mission, and vision for our Soldiers if we are unable to host this event.  This event allows PdD CSW and other stakeholders to develop and inform future requirements so PdD CSW can continue to be the premier provider of weapons and systems to our Warfighters.  An award to a vendor other than AGI would hinder future requirements and increase the risk to our Soldiers.

This Presolicitation notice does not constitute as a Request For Proposal (RFP). The Government will not be liable for any costs associated with preparation and submission of data or any other costs incurred in response to this announcement. Telephone responses and inquiries will not be accepted.  A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated award date for this action is September 19, 2025.
