Notice of Intent to Sole Source

This is a notice of intent to sole source a procurement under FAR subpart FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). Headquarters Marine Corps, Program & Resources (P&R) requires a follow-on procurement for Pega Term Licenses, including PGP Regular Term (Monthly Users), PGP Occasional Term (Monthly Users), and PGP Sporadic Term (Monthly Users). FedStore Corporation was verified as an authorized federal reseller of Pega software and associated support services. Accordingly, it is recommended that services continue with this company, and its utilization is required to meet mission needs. The anticipated NAICS Code for this requirement is 541519 – Other Computer Related Services.

The USMC Regional Contracting Office (RCO) – Marine Corps Installations-National Capital Region (MCI-NCR) at Marine Corps Base, Quantico VA intends to award a sole source contract to FedStore Corporation, 7820 Persimmon Tree Ln., Bethesda, MD 20817, in accordance with FAR 19.1406 Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB).

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive quotes; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. Capability statements or quotes, if received timely, will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
