PLUM VENTURE SR PRO STANDARD BUNDLE DEVICES

THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES.

The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price purchase order for QTY 2: Plum Venture SR PRO Standard Bundle devices. The vendor will be PLUM LABORATORIES, INC, 329 N Main ST, Springfield, TN 37172-2406, UEI:  PN7SMDLU71U9.

This action is being awarded on a sole source basis pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), services required by the agency are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satisfy agency requirements. The Plum Venture devices have been vetted and approved for use with US Coast Guard systems and the contractor, as the manufacturer of these devices, is the only entity eligible to sell them due to proprietary rights and warranty administration. USCG Base Kodiak, Kodiak AK 99615, will be the procuring entity for this effort. The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. The NAICS Code for this requirement is 334210. The contractor is a small business under the assigned NAICS Code. 

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact no later than 26 Aug 2025, at 1:00 p.m., Alaska time. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
