PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR MULTI-PURPOSE LOW-ROOF 8-PASSENGER LIGHT COMMERCIAL MINIBUS – FOR THE U.S. EMBASSY ANKARA, TÜRKIYE

The U.S. Embassy in Ankara intends to issue a solicitation for the supply and delivery of one (1) Multi-Purpose Low-Roof 8-Passenger Light Commercial Minibus, configured for driver plus eight passengers, suitable for urban and intercity passenger transport.

The vehicle shall be new, unused and current production, with a low-roof, fully glazed body; three seating rows with removable/reconfigurable passenger seats; turbocharged diesel engine (~2.0L, Euro 6.2 compliant) producing approximately 170 PS and 390 Nm torque; 8-speed automatic transmission; front-wheel drive; GVWR around 3,200 kg; and payload capacity of at least 850 kg. Required features include three-zone climate control, advanced safety systems (ESP, ABS, lane keeping, collision mitigation, blind spot monitoring), infotainment with 13" touchscreen and navigation, rear camera with 360° view, heated driver/front passenger seats, and premium alloy wheels.

The offered vehicle must include manufacturer’s warranty valid in Türkiye for a minimum of two (2) years covering parts and labor. Failure to meet this warranty requirement will result in disqualification from consideration. Equivalent makes and models meeting or exceeding these specifications will be considered.

This procurement will be conducted under full and open competition procedures as set forth in FAR Part 13 or 15, depending on the final value of the award.

All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. Please be aware that the response date in this synopsis is not final; see the RFQ for the actual deadline. The Government intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to the lowest-priced, technically acceptable, and responsible offeror. Award may be made based on initial offers without discussions.
