The technical services necessary to successfully manage production are as follows: the engineering, management, and logistic support required to ensure the continued Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) of the weapon system. Due to the requirements of this action is was determined that this contract would be awarded on a sole source basis (FAR 6.302-1) to The Boeing Compnay. Please see attached J&A. The contract is valued at $7,479,640,772.00 as a Fixed Price Incentive Fee and Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity Contract Action.
