The RFS title, Prototyping of SPY-1 Organic Sustainment Capabilities, opportunity has been issued as part of the Strategic & Spectrum Missions Advanced Resilient Trust Systems (S2MARTS) consortium managed by National Security Technology Accelerator (NSTXL) and administered by the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division. PROJECT OVERVIEW The government is seeking a comprehensive solution from industry that will ensure the operational effectiveness and readiness of the AN/SPY -1 radar systems. This includes the development of a prototype that addresses immediate readiness requirements and sets the foundation for long-term sustainment and modernization. The prototype should include proof of concept or model, reverse engineering effort to address obsolescence, creation, design, development or demonstration of technical or operational utility and a business process. The solution should encompass various aspects, including battle sparing capability, process definition, sustainment knowledge, industrial base and Research and Development (R&D) identification, integration of ideal attributes, and long-term fleet readiness and modernization.
