AI Summary
The Department of Energy is soliciting proposals for a pulsed fiber laser with specific technical requirements, including wavelength, pulse duration, and output specifications. Proposals are due by 5:00 PM CST on September 12, 2025, and must include necessary documentation. Questions can be directed to the Contracting Officer until September 10, 2025.
*THIS RFQ WILL BE EVALUATED BASED ON LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE METHODOLOGY*
Looking to source a pulsed fiber laser with the following requirements:
Center Wavelength 1074.6 nm vacuum wavelength
Slow wavelength actuator: temperature
Slow Wavelength tunability: +/- 0.3 nm
Fast wavelength actuator: PZT
Fast wavelength mode-hop free tuning: >10GHz
Pulse Duration: 5-10 ns
Pulse repetition rate: >=10kHz
Peak power: 30kW@10ns/10kHz
Output fiber: 3 ports, port 1 with 1m length of PM fiber in 3.0mm PVC jacket with FC/APC connector for seed CW monitor, port 2 with 1m length of PM fiber in 3.0mm PVC jacket with FC/APC connector for pulse signal monitor, port 3 with 1m length of PM fiber in 3.0mm PVC jacket with FC/APC connector for output
Laser linewidth: transform limited, for 10 ns gaussian pulses, 44MHz FWHM spectral width.
Pulse control: External TTL trigger or analog control for multi-laser synchronization
Please review all applicable documentation and provde a proposal response no later than 5:00PM CST September 12, 2025.
Within your proposal, please include a fully executed copy of the ANL-70 Request for Quotation and the ANL-70A Pre-Award Information, Representations and Certifications.
Any questions can be directed to the Contracting Officer up until 5:00PM CST September 10, 2025.
