    Title: Accreditation Survey for the Cancer Program Purpose: The Network Contracting Office (NCO)-16 in support of the Michael E. DeBakey Veteran Affairs Medical Center (MEDVAMC) hereby issues the following Request for Information (RFI) announcement only. This is NOT a solicitation announcement. The Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center Cancer Program is tentatively scheduled to be surveyed on June 2026 by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer (ACS CoC). This is a comprehensive virtual or on-site survey of the entire cancer program s compliance level with all applicable standards. The ACS CoC survey includes: Assessment of compliance with all the new standards (Cancer Program Standards 2020: Revised Edition for 2024.) The updated standards (Cancer Program Standards 2020: Optimal Resources for Cancer Care for 2023, 2024, and 2025 activities. Data for these years is only found in the historical SAR).
