    Description

    Project Title: Off-Site Surgery Center for the Northern Arizona VA Healthcare System (NAVAHCS). The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source, fixed price (FP), indefinite delivery / indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for off-site surgery center services. NAVAHCS requires a relationship with a local ambulatory surgery center to be able to provide for outpatient surgeries and procedures requiring anesthesia to Veterans. The period of performance for this effort will be a 12 month base year with four (4) one-year options. This sole-source contracting action is conducted pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). This notice is NOT a request for competitive quotations or proposals. This is not a solicitation; it constitutes the synopsis of the proposed action. Responses to this notice must demonstrate clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the Government, would not be cost or time prohibitive, and would not hinder the mission or objective. The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
