    Description

    The 48th Contracting Squadron at Royal Air Force (RAF) Lakenheath, United Kingdom, seeks feedback and sources from companies capable of providing non-personal Strength and Conditioning Specialist services for the 48th Medical Group (48th MDG) at RAF Lakenheath in accordanc ewith the attached draft Performance Work Statement (PWS). 

    Background: The Government requires contractor support for the Operational Support Team, whcih is integral to maintaining operational readiness. This position will directly support mission readiness by improving Airmen's strength and physical performance, preventing injuries, integrating rehabilitation, and optimizing human performance. 

    The specialist will be responsible for designing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive physical training and injury prvention programs tailored to enhance Airman performance. Key responsibilities include: 

    • Providing direct instruction.
    • Assessing and mitigating physical and ergonomic workplace stressors
    • Collaborating with medical staff and unit leadership to support a full spectrum of human performanc eand rehabilitation initiatives. 

    Response Guidelines: This is a Request for Information (RFI) for market research and planning purposes only. This notice does not constitute a formal Request for Proposal (RFP) or Request for Quote (RFQ). No contract will be awarded from this announcement.

    The Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this RFI. All costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFQ or RFP, if any is issued. Please submit responses electronically to the designated points of contact by the specified response date.
