Sierra Army Depot located in Herlong, California has a requirement for:

One (1); Rail Handler/Grapple - RCE Equipment Solutions 1D-1950 or Equivalent - Rail Grapple Excavator Attachment; New, unused and not refurbished; compatible with CAT 308 MINI EXCAVATOR serial number CAT0030HGG802985 with CAT hydraulic quick connect; Capable of handling and moving 40-foot stick of rail; Must have gearless hydraulic rotation system - sliding frame design rail handling/grapple heads; Must come with installation kit; Inclusive of all shipping/freight.

One (1); Tie Handler/Grapple - RCE Equipment Solutions TH507 or Equivalent - Rail Tie Grapple Excavator Attachment; New, unused and not refurbished; compatible with CAT 308 MINI EXCAVATOR serial number CAT0030HGG802985 with CAT hydraulic quick connect; Must have gearless hydraulic rotation system tie handling tie grapple heads; Hydraulic actuated tie grapple with sliding frame tie grapple; Must come with installation kit; Inclusive of all shipping/freight.

The Army intends to award one single firm-fixed price purchase order as a result of this solicitation. This requirement is being solicited as 100% small business set-aside and will be conducted using Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12.

The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 333120 – Construction Machinery Manufacturing. The related small business size standard is 1250 employees.

In accordance with FAR Clause 52.204-7; Contractors are required to be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) when submitting an offer or quotation and shall continue to be registered until time of award, during performance and through final payment of any purchase order or contract resulting from this solicitation.

All responsible sources may submit a quote and those conforming to the requirements of the solicitation may be considered for award. In accordance with FAR 5.102(d), availability of this solicitation will be limited to the electronic medium. Questions shall include reference to the RFQ number in the subject line. Questions must be received a minimum of seven (7) days before the closing date listed in the RFQ. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website. It is the sole responsibility of the offerors to continually review this website for any amendments made to this solicitation.
