This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
The Contractors shall provide janitorial services for recreation sites (including campgrounds, trailheads, and day use sites) on the Olympic National Forest. The Contractors shall provide all personnel, supplies (to include toilet paper), supervision, tools, materials, equipment, transportation and other items and non-personal services necessary to provide custodial services in accordance with this Performance Work Statement (PWS) except those items specified as Government furnished property and services. The Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract as well as all local, state, and federal regulations.
Solicitation number 1240BD26Q0011 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Janitorial services for Vault Toilets bathrooms located at recreation sites spread throughout the Olympic National Forest. These bathrooms include single riser vault toilet buildings, double riser vault toilet buildings, and multi-stall flush toilet buildings. These building types are delineated in the schedule items and square footage is identified in the “Facility Description and distance” spreadsheet.
Sites are accessed by forest roads. Roads can include either paved or gravel roads depending on the site. Sites vary in distance from the nearest highway. Some sites are closely grouped and some sites have large distances between them. If A ontract is awarded to one vendor, then multiple employees will likely be needed for successful completion of contract due to long drive times between sites.
The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720. The small business size standard is $18.0 Million. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. The Service code is S201 Janitorial Services.
The contract will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with one base year and 4 Optional Years for a possible total of 5 years. Many Contracts can be awarded to reduce the amount of driving by having only one vendor.
Each year includes an “Actual Performance Period” (May 15th- October 29th). This period will be executed if the Option contract year is executed.
Each year includes an “Option 1” (October 30th- May 14th). This period may or may not be executed if the option contract year is executed. This determination will be made by the government and may differ each year.
Project location are Hoodsport area (1 and 2), Quilcene area, Forks area, and Quinault area of the Olympic National Forest.
