1. Purpose of Notice
The Government seeks to identify potential vendors or distributors capable of redesigning and qualifying a source of supply for the Common Data Entry Electronic Unit (CDEEU) (NSN: 7025015093748WF). The Government anticipates utilizing a single award procurement to address current supply shortages. 2. Mission Objective
The US Air Force requires a reliable source of supply for the Common Data Entry Electronic Unit (CDEEU) to support all USAF blocks of F-16 aircraft. Current supply shortages have resulted in Mission Impaired Capability Awaiting Part(s) (MICAPS) conditions, directly impacting fleet readiness and operational capability. The Government requires an industry partner to independently execute a redesign and manufacturing source qualification to restore supply chain stability for this critical component.
The Mission Need: The Government requires the establishment of a qualified source of supply for the F-16 CDEEU to eliminate existing operational gaps.
