REGIONAL GROUNDS MAINTENANCE SERVICES

Naval Facilities Engineering Command Washington (NAVFAC WASH) is soliciting sources for Regional Grounds Maintenance Services across NAVFAC WASH’s Area of Responsibility (AOR). NAVFAC WASH’s AOR extends up to 100 miles from the Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC.

The work shall be performed at the following locations throughout the Naval District Washington: Naval Support Activity Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC;  Naval Research Laboratory (NRL), Washington, DC; Marine Corps Barracks, Washington, DC; Naval Support Facility  Arlington Service Center (ASC), Arlington, VA; United States Naval Observatory (USNO), Washington, DC; Naval Support Facility, Carderock, West Bethesda, MD; Naval Support Facility Dahlgren, VA; Naval Support Facility Indian Head, MD; Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, MD;  Marine Corps Base Quantico, VA and other sites within 100 mile radius of Washington, DC.

Grounds maintenance services are to be procured by means of a Facilities Support Contract that is comprised of both Recurring Work (formerly referred to as Firm Fixed Price) line items and Non-Recurring Work (formerly referred to as Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity) line items. A combination Recurring Work and Non-Recurring work is anticipated.

Scope: The Contractor shall perform grounds maintenance services to include, but not limited to the following:

1. Grounds Maintenance
2. Landscaping
3. Pest Control
4. Unwanted vegetation and invasive plants
5. Lawn, turf and ornamental pests
6. Pavement Clearing
7. Street Sweeping
8. Snow Clearing
