    SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE LANGUAGE

    THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY; IT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTE, RATHER MARKET RESEARCH TO DETERMINE COMPLAINCE WITH THE BUY INDIAN ACT AND DETERMINATION OF SET-ASIDE.

    The Billings Area Indian Health Service (BAIHS) is seeking to identify Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) or Indian Economic Enterprises (IEE) sources pursuant to the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. 47), capable of performing the Indian Health Services (IHS) requirement for Regulated Medical Waste Disposal Services located at the Crow Service Unit, Crow Agency, Montana. Any vendor responding to this notice should submit their capability statement as well as the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form (attached).

    This notice is issued solely for information and planning purposes; it does not constitute a Request for Quotation (RFQ), or a promise to issue an RFQ in the future. This notice does not commit the U.S. Government to contract for any supply or service. Further, the Government is not seeking quotes or proposals at this time.

    INSTRUCTIONS TO INDUSTRY

    ISBEEs are highly encouraged to respond to this notice. However, firms must also understand that generic capability statements are not sufficient for effective evaluation of their capacity and capability to perform the work required. To be considered a capable source, responses must directly demonstrate the company’s capability, experience, and ability to provide services as described in the attached statement of work.

    Responses which do not provide the requested information specified in this sources sought notice will be considered non-responsive.

    SUBMISSION

    Interested parties capable of performing the required services may submit a response via email to: katrina.eaglefeathers@ihs.gov. To be considered, your response must be received no later than the time & date established for the response date on this sources sought announcement.

    Interested parties shall submit their capability response as instructed above and include a copy of the Buy Indian Act Indian Economic Enterprise Representation Form. It is recommended to include the sources sought ID in the subject line: SS-IHS1521276-BI. Responses received to this notice will assist in determining the acquisition strategy of the requirement.
