The Government intends to solicit a sole source for the procurement of the Assa Abloy access control system for Camp Zama Japan. Anticipated award date is around 18 Jul 2026 (subject to change). The procurement of the Assa Abloy access control system essential to establish and maintain standardized access control across the unaccompanied housing (UH) at Camp Zama. Standardizing on ASSA ABLOY eliminates these inefficiencies, avoids a substantial duplication of costs to the Government that is not expected to be recovered through competition, and ensures a unified, secure access control network for all UH facilities.
Note 1: This project will be performed in its entirety in the country of Japan. The successful offeror must have valid licenses to meet the requirement in the country of Japan. Offerors must have a Japanese CAGE code.
Note 2: The contractor shall submit personnel certification for the entire life of this contract; “Lock Installation Engineer”, certified by Minister of Health, Labor and Welfare (厚生労働大臣認定資格施錠工技師).
