REPLACEMENT RIG KIT NOAA AOC

PURPOSE: The purpose of this initial provisioning action is to acquire aircraft flight control rigging equipment in support of NOAA’s acquisition of two Gulfstream G550 SP aircraft to replace the aging G-IV SP aircraft currently in use. Maintenance of the aircraft flight control system is critical to flight safety and platform airworthiness. Scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft flight controls must be performed with specific equipment designed for the task. The procurement of this equipment will enable NOAA’s Aircraft Operations Center to effectively support the G550 platform throughout its lifecycle.

TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS:

Flight control rigging equipment for the G550 aircraft. Found in the Gulfstream G550 AMM and the Gulfstream SE catalog.

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is the preferred provider due to the fact they are the sole manufacturer of this equipment.
