The National Park Service (NPS) is seeking expressions of interest for Kettle Falls Hotel, Kettle Falls villas, and associated structures within Voyageurs National Park. The site is located on the east end of Rainy Lake approximately 27 water miles from the Rainy Lake Visitor Center or 37 water miles from International Falls, Minnesota. The site is only accessible by boat or float plane. While these buildings have been historically used as overnight accommodations and food service, the NPS is seeking concepts and ideas for adaptive reuse of the buildings or changes in the overnight accommodations and food and beverage. If you obtain a copy of the RFEI from the website, please advise Ms. Simmons of your contact information in order to receive future information related to this advertisement. A site visit will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. To attend the site visit, registration is required. To register, please contact Concessions Management Specialist Miranda Challeen via email at miranda_challeen@nps.gov no later than April 30, 2025. You must provide your name, contact information, the name of the company interested in submitting a proposal that you represent, and the number of people in your party. Due to space constraints, the NPS limits the number of site visit attendees to a total of two (2) people per interested company. All individuals attending the site visit must disclose to the NPS the company with which they are affiliated. Transportation to and from Kettle Falls will be provided by the NPS.
