The US Air Force anticipates a Cost-Plus Fixed Fee, IDIQ Request for Proposal (RFP), FA8538-26-RB007, to provide engineering capabilities and knowledge needed to provide supportability analysis services for F-15 avionics systems. This requirement consists of performing desk top Technical Order parts audits and analysis, to include tasks such as component verification, data analysis, parts research, reporting, gathering information, inputting data, tracking, organizing, developing, coordinating, and reviewing all data, for the Supply Chain Management and Obsolescence Management Programs.
The contract will consist of a Basic Ordering Period (12 months) and (2) 12-month Ordering Periods. This anticipated contract action is in support of the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), 638th Supply Chain Management Group (SCMG), 409th Supply Chain Management Squadron (SCMS). The F-15 fleet’s remaining life cycle is currently scheduled for 2045.
The proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate utilizing Other Than Full and Open procedures in accordance with RFO 6.104-1(a)(3). BAE Systems Technology Solutions & Services Inc. (CAGE Code: 99789), is the only source with the knowledge of the complexity of the processes and tools needed to compile and analyze the enormous amount and type of data to meet this requirement, no other contractor could successfully provide the needed service without unacceptable delays that would result in a significant waste of taxpayer dollars and disservice to the warfighter.
Period of Performance is anticipated to begin September 2026 for a period of 3 years. The Request for Proposal posting is estimated to be 29 June 2026.
