REQUEST FOR INFORMATION, PROCUREMENT OF KLYSTRON TUBES FOR THE HOMING ALL THE WAY KILLER (HAWK) MISSILE SYSTEM

The U.S. Army, Security Assistance Management Directorate is looking for prospective contractors for a procurement of Klystron Tubes for the Homing All the Way Killer (HAWK) Missile System.

1. Each prospective contractor must provide information on past experience providing the same services to any other U.S. Government entities. Such information must include contract number(s), award date(s), and points of contact with phone numbers and email addresses.
2. Each prospective contractor must submit estimated pricing for each part listed below.
3. Each vendor must be able to submit technical documentation on their capabilities to produce the part(s) on this list. The technical documentation requirements must include: an established and implemented QA plan, an established and implemented HAZMAT plan and the availability of experienced resources, the necessary equipment & test capabilities to support the effort, and ability to meet the requirements of MIL STD packaging for classified items and magnetized items.
4. This procurement will be all or nothing.
5. Each vendor must have access to the source control documents from the current original equipment manufacturer. This includes all drawings, software and technical data package for each part. The USG will not provide this information.
6. Each vendor must have in their possession the Special Acceptance and Inspection Equipment for post testing and acceptance inspections for these parts. The USG will not provide this equipment.
7. Each contractor must be able to have a facility with a clearance level of at least CONFIDENTIAL and a current inspection certificate on file with DSS.
8. General information on the prospective contractor’s capabilities is welcome. However, each prospective contractor shall address paragraphs 1-7 above.

All information received will be used for planning purposes. It shall not be considered as an Invitation to Bid, Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal, or as an obligation on the part of the Government to respond, or to acquire any products or services.
