REQUEST FOR INTERESTED MANUFACTURERS / UH-1N MULTIPLE INDICATOR (NSN 6605-01-597-4616)

Market research is being conducted to identify potential sources that may possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to meet the requirements for qualification and production of the UH-1N Multiple Indicator (NSN 6605-01-597-4616 ; P/N 201-21-8875-01). 

ITEM DESCRIPTION

The UH-1N Multiple Indicator is a Critical Safety Item, an Advanced Microprocessor Controlled Airborne Multipurpose Electronic Display, which is designed to display the flight plan data from a connected GPS receiver. The moving map database as well as the internal operating system software obtainable through vendor, are field loadable through the use of a computer equipped with a USB port and a USB capable version of Microsoft Windows 7.0 or higher. This is part of the Helicopter Terrain Awareness Warning System/Traffic Collision Avoidance Device (HTAWS/TCAD).

INTEREST

The DLA/AWB Contracting Office intends to award a competitive Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) contract for the purchase of surplus Multiple Indicators in support of the UH-1N helicopter program.  Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement no later than 13 June 2024 to Robert Berg via email (robert.berg.9@us.af.mil). The Government intends to procure these COTS items as prescribed by FAR 12.103.
