The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) by and through the DCSO-C3 intends to award a contract for up to 79,380 pounds (lbs) of Bismuth Metal ingots or slabs of 99.99% (4N) purity. The Government reserves the right to award for less than the maximum quantity. All Bismuth Metal to be delivered under any resulting contract shall be packaged and delivered in slab or ingot form. This procurement will additionally require sampling of the Bismuth metal to be performed by an independent sampling subcontractor and testing of the Bismuth metal to be performed by an independent testing laboratory subcontractor. Any eventual contract award will require the Contractor to deliver the material to Hawthorne, Nevada. This requirement has a 24-month period of performance, at the conclusion of which all ordered bismuth metal (up to 79,380 lbs) shall have been delivered.
