SDDC requires Stevedoring and Related Terminal Services (S&RTS) at the Mid-Atlantic Ports, i.e. the Ports of Charleston, SC, Savannah, GA, Wilmington, NC, and Morehead City, NC, in connection with the import and export of Defense Transportation System (DTS) sponsored and non-sponsored cargo. S&RTS services will cover the full spectrum of managing US Military cargo (e.g., containers, vehicles, breakbulk, and rotary or fixed wing aircraft) transitioning through designated seaports. Operational tasks shall include, but are not limited to, all stevedoring and longshoring services required to manage vessel, truck and rail loading & discharging, port reception and disposition, cargo management (staged, prep, and onward moved), intra port transfers, vessel prep, documentation (tallying & checking), and warehousing/storage of dunnage & tiedown materials. All tasks shall be completed per the requirements stated throughout the Performance Work Statement (PWS) and in a manner consistent with safety, efficiency, and customer service in mind.
