The intent of this project is to provide aggregate and reconstruct 2.2 miles of road within the Williams Creek Campground. Work includes reshaping the roadbed by reestablishing ditches and pulling the road width back to a standard width by cutting the shoulders and adding acceptable material to the existing surface. The new surface will be constructed with a crown of no less than 4%. Additional work will include cleaning lead-out ditches, cutting the washboard, filling potholes and covering large rocks. Once the approved roadbed is prepared, commercially purchased aggregate consisting of CDOT class 6 1”-minus road base material with a pi between 2-9 shall be hauled, placed and compacted using layer placement method 204.11(a)(1) to a 4” depth and a 12' to 18' width.
