SECURITY FENCE REPLACEMENT, FOX POINT HURRICANE BARRIER, PROVIDENCE, RI

THE WORK CONSISTS OF: Contractor shall demolish and remove existing metal railings and chain-link fence and posts from a concrete structure and install new vinyl coated chain link fence, one new pedestrian gate and barbed wire as shown on the figures.  The new fence includes approximately 122 linear feet of 8-foot-high vinyl coated chain link fence complete with posts cored-drilled into steel reinforced concrete, braces, 30-inch-wide pedestrian gate, barbed wire and all other appurtenances required for a complete and functional new fence enclosure.

The work site is located in Providence RI 02905, adjacent to the intersection of Bridge and Tockwotton Streets.  The fence location is on the east abutment of the concrete hurricane barrier structure accessed from a public sidewalk over stone rip rap.

This procurement is set-aside for small business vendors. The applicable NAICS code is 238990 with a Small Business Size Standard of $19 Million.

ALL VENDORS MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE REGISTRATION IN SAM.GOV AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED. ANY VENDOR THAT DOES NOT HAVE AN ACTIVE SAM.GOV REGISTRATION WILL BE REJECTED AS NON RESPONSIVE.
