SIAM SOCIETY OF INDUSTRIAL AND APPLIED MATHEMATICS

The US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), intends to issue an award to SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics), 3600 Market ST FL 6, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania 19104-2669, United States, on a sole source basis utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures as outlined in FAR Part 13. The requirement is for one physical site licenses for the following journals: Subscription Supply from the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM). The license is propriety to SIAM; SIAM Journal is the exclusive owner of the content and information available through SIAM (Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics) Journal.

The NAICS code for this requirement is 513120 with a size standard of 1000 employees.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotes or proposals. A solicitation will not be issued; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. The information submitted must be provided in sufficient detail to demonstrate the vendor's ability to fulfill this requirement. The contractor must also provide a description of their past experience in fulfilling requirements that are the same or similar to this requirement and references for each.

Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to complete this requirement on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. Interested parties may submit any information for consideration by the Government to April.L.Porter@usace.army.mil.
