The intent of this posting is to provide an advanced notice of the forthcoming solicitation. The NAICS Code is 333310, Commercial and Service Industry Machinery Manufacturing, with a business size standard of 1,000. This proposed procurement includes an item within the Federal Supply Class 1240.

This procurement will be solicited as a 100% total small business set aside and procured in accordance with the procedures of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15 – Contracting by Negotiation.

NSN 1240-01-584-6306 Approved source: CAGE 0FL29, Trijicon, Inc. & P/N RM05-53. The requirement quantity is 687 EA,  with quantity price break ranges up to 900 EA. The delivery time is 180 days. FOB point is Origin (First Destination Transportation) and Inspection and Acceptance at Destination. Delivery location: W1A8 DLA Distribution, DDSP New Cumberland Facility, 2083 Normandy Drive, Door 113 to 134, New Cumberland, PA 17070-5002, US

The proposed solicitation number is SPE7M9-25-R-0005 and will be available on the DLA DIBBS website at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about 15 January 2026. There is no active solicitation at this time. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. All offers shall be in the English language and in U.S. dollars.

Based upon market research, the Government is not using the policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
