SOLE SOURCE - ELECTRIC PISTON HORN FOR T-AKE VESSEL

Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) intends to solicit and award a firm-fixed-price Supply-type Purchase Order for OEM Kahlenberg Industries Inc KPH-90 Electric Piston Horn (military version).

This requirement is sole sourced to Kahlenberg Industries Inc. due to being a Ship Critical Safety Item that requires direct replacement for form, fit, and function with existing equipment. Additionally, the supplies are required to be procured directly through the Original Equipment Manufacturer in accordance with approved ABS Drawings to support Transportation Alteration 649 onboard a T-AKE Vessel. Interested companies may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement, which will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination not to compete this action based upon responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
