SONAR CALIBRATION SYSTEM

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) is in search of sources who manufacture or resell brand name or equal, Aqualyd Limited wireless echosounder calibration winch system(s) in meeting the minimum specifications on the 'Aqualyd Wireless Echosounder Calibration Winch Manual', attached.

The Government will consider vendors who believe they can provide brand name or equal items; however, the Government reserves the right not to compete a resultant solicitation and the right not to make an award from any information received in repsonse to this posting. If you believe your entity can provide an equal item, please provide answers to all of the following questions/ bullets in a written email to jenna.taulman@noaa.gov and jacob.gray@noaa.gov by the deadline of this posting. All interested vendors must be registered in SAM and be eligible for federal contracts.

• What is the entity UEI number?
• What is the entity's socioecononic status (small or large business)?
• What is the cost estimate? (Please estimate all costs in US Dollars, and priced without sales taxes; this information is used solely for determining the clauses that would be applicable based on the dollar value of the acquisition, if an award is made in the future).
• Provide the brand name of item including specifications meeting the minimum needs of the Aqualyd product described in this posting/ attachment(s).
• Do the item(s) come with a warranty, if so, for how many years? 
• What is the place of manufacture? (country or if manufactured in multiple countries, a percent estimate per country (for example, "100% manufactured in the US" or "60% manufactured in the US, 40% in Canada")
• Can the item can be shipped to Woods Hole, MA 02543 (USA)?
• Is this item commercial in accordance with federal regulation definition "Commercial product means— (1) A product, other than real property, that is of a type customarily used by the general public or by nongovernmental entities for purposes other than governmental purposes, and– (i) Has been sold, leased, or licensed to the general public; or (ii) Has been offered for sale, lease, or license to the general public;"
