Agency: 28th Contracting Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, South Dakota

Requirement: The 28th Maintenance Group (28 MXG) requires six (6) equipment trailers, as detailed in (Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics List).

Contract Type: Firm Fixed Price (FFP)

Acquisition Procedures: This acquisition will be conducted using FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures.

Set-Aside: This is a 100% Small Business set-aside solicited under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336212 with a size standard of 1000 Employees. To be eligible to compete, vendors must be certified in accordance with current Small Business Administration (SBA) regulations.

• Interested and responsible small business offerors are invited to submit a quote in writing via email to:

• All questions regarding this solicitation must be submitted via email to nicholas.oak@us.af.mil no later than 3:00 PM MDT on May 9, 2025.
• A memorandum with the answers will be posted as an amendment to this solicitation by 3:00 PM MDT on May 13, 2025.

• Quotes must be received no later than 3:00 PM Mountain Daylight Time (MDT) on May 19, 2025.

Evaluation Factors (in descending order of importance):

1. Technical Capability

   • Offered item must meet or exceed all stated specifications and salient characteristics.

   • Offerors MUST include picures of past modified trailers to demonstrate technical capability.

2. Price

   • Price will be evaluated for reasonableness and completeness.

Interchanges: The Government intends to evaluate quotes and award a contract without Interchanges with quoters. However, the Government reserves the right to conduct Interchanges with one, some, none, or all quoters at its discretion.

Award Without Discussions

The Government reserves the right to award without discussions. Offerors are encouraged to provide their best terms in the initial quote.
