SOURCES SOUGHT - INTENT TO AWARD SINGLE SOURCE - LMR DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM:

The 673rd Contracting Squadron, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska intends to award a firm-fixed price, sole source supply contract to Motorola Solutions, Inc. (500 W Monroe St. FL44, Chicago, IL 60661 (UEI: G2LUXP8ND8U6)) for a land mobile radio distributed antenna system (DAS) at the local Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) hospital.  The scope of this effort includes all personnel, equipment, tools, specialized test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision, and other items and services necessary to install a Motorola DAS (on-site at JBER, Alaska Medical Treatment Facilities (MTF)). 

This DAS shall provide required radio frequency coverage throughout the MTF.  Due to the critical nature and demanding need of clear communications during emergencies, it is necessary to limit this procurement to Mortorola Solutions’ proprietary technology due to its seamless compatibility with existing infrastructure and training.

The NAICS code for this acquisition is 541519 (Information Technology Value Added Resellers). Small business size standard for this NAICS code is 150 employees.

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(2). The anticipated award date is 9 September 2025.

Please note that this is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all interested parties who believe they can meet the requirements are invited to submit in writing complete information describing their ability to provide the product listed.

Deadline date for the submittal is Tuesday, 7 August 2025 at 2:00 pm Eastern Standard Time.

A determination by the United States Government not to compete this requirement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the United States Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
