SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE– CABLE AND HARNESS MULTIPLE AWARD CONTRACT

N00164-25-S-NB56 - SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE– Cable and Harness Multiple Award Contract. PSC - 6145 - NAICS 335931.

Issue Date: 14 May 2025 - Closing Date: 04 June 2025 – Time Eastern 2:00 PM EST.

The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane, IN is issuing this Sources Sought Notice as part of market research in accordance with FAR 15.201(e) and FAR Part 10 to determine if any qualified, experienced, responsible, and interested potential sources can provide supplies for aircraft subsystem cables and harnesses. Cables will be “build-to-print” based on Government drawings. 

Attachments to this RFI/Sources Sought include a Statement of Work, drawings, and CDRLs. These attachments are Government owned and will be posted to www.sam.gov at the same time the Sources Sought is posted. Contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and the Joint Certification Program (JCP) in order to receive the controlled attachments. Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 or via the internet at https://www.sam.gov. The Government is contemplating a 100% small business set-aside acquisition for this action, so it is imperative to provide a response by the closing date with the information below. The NAICS for this action is 335931, Current-Carrying Wiring Device Manufacturing, with a size standard of 600 employees.

All interested parties are encouraged to submit company and product literature, a white paper no longer than five pages, and/or other pertinent information. Responses should include a description with performance parameters and a statement of current availability, summary of prior testing, test reports, a budgetary cost estimate, production units, production quantity breaks and a lead-time of the solution. If necessary, responses should identify other Government contracts with similar efforts for the Government(s) consideration.

This Sources Sought does not constitute an Invitation for Bids (IFB), a Request for Quote (RFQ), or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and it should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a formal solicitation or ultimately award a contract. The US Government is in no way liable to pay for or reimburse any companies or entities that respond to this announcement. Any costs incurred by interested companies in response to this announcement will NOT be reimbursed.
