SOURCES SOUGHT / NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE FOR PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES FOR OXFORD TECHNICAL SOLUTIONS CALIBRATION AND CALIBRATION CERTIFICATE This is a SOURCES SOUGHT/ NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT using Federal Acquisition Regulation FAR 13.106-1(b) (1). The US Army Contracting Command - Aberdeen Proving Ground (ACC-APG) Tenant Division, 6472 Integrity Court, Bldg. 4401, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD 21005-3013; has a requirement to procure the following service: The U.S. Army Aberdeen Test Center (ATC) requires biannual calibration, calibration certificate and emergency repairs of inertial navigation systems designed and fabricated by Oxford Technical Solutions (OxTS), Inc, serviced by Brendell Associates Limited. The annual calibration is required in order to trace the accuracy of the acquired data to a National Standard. The annual calibration will also provide software updates to the inertial navigation systems. (Include description of services required). The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price sole source contract, consisting of one 12-month base period plus two (2) 12-month option periods, to Brendel Associates Limited : 3280 BRADWAY BLVD, BLOOMFIELD HILLS, MI 48301, United States. Brendel Associated Limited is the only approved source for OxTS equipment maintenance and repair services, as well as required calibration. The continued need for the OxTS mission essential calibration, maintenance and repair visits have been deemed critical. The associated North America Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334515 - Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals and the Business Size Standard is $34M. All responses received within four (4) business days after date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase order based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
