Overview/Background: The NSIU is a Line Replaceable Unit (LRU) providing an electronic interface to allow communication between the aircraft platform and LRSO store. The NSIU is designed to update connections to meet current MIL-STD-1760 requirements and enhance nuclear hardness. AFNWC/NDB is looking for vendors with the capability to produce the NSIU to the provided specifications and quality standards as a build-to-print manufacturing effort, which will not require hardware installation.
