NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD Spare & Replacement Parts for Large Examination and Printing Equipment (LEPE) Presses

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) Office of Chief Procurement Officer (OCPO) intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract on behalf of the Office of Supply Chain Management. The contract will precure an Anchor, Horizontal, for NBX Box, Koenig & Bauer (K&B), P/N 1002406890. The replacement parts are proprietary and can only be acquired from K&B.  Therefore, the Government intends to award a sole source contract to K&B in accordance with FAR Subpart 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii).

This notice of intent is not a request for competitive offers/quotes/proposals. A determination not to compete this requirement is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.  Any cost associated with the preparation and submission of data or information, or any other costs incurred in responding to this notice is the sole responsibility of the respondent and will not be reimbursed by the Government.
