SPARK PLASMA SINTERING SYSTEM

SOURCES SOUGHT: This is a Sources Sought Synopsis in support of Market Research being conducted by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) to identify potential sources. This is not a a Solicitation Announcement, nor is it a Request for Proposal. This request does not obligate the Government to any contract award. The US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) is issuing this Sources Sought announcement for the supply of a SPARK Plasma Sintering System to determine interest, availability and capability of businesses to supply the item as described below:

ERDC Environmental Laboratory, Environmental Chemistry Branch (EPC) has a need to purchase a Spark Plasma Sintering System for the synthesis and densification of materials in support of their research and mission. The needs for this requirement must meet the following specifications:

Delivery Date: Must be delivered no later than six (6) months from order date.

SUBMISSION: All interested companies with 334516 as an approved NAICS code have until April 7, 2026 at 1:00 PM CST to submit the following:

1. Name and Address of your Firm
2. Point of Contact (name/phone/email)
3. UEI/Cage Code
4. Business Size, to include designation as HUBZone, 8(a), Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business, Woman-Owned Business, and large business. The Government must be able to verify SBA certification of Hubzone, 8(a) and SDB via SAM.
5. Capability Statement: Please include a capability statement not to exceed ten pages.
