SPECIAL CONTAINERS

This procurement is for four (4) special containers with bolted closures: two (2) with a minimum 5,000 lb capacity and two (2) with a minimum 1,500 lb capacity. The containers must be fabricated in accordance with the specifications outlined in Attachment A1 and A2 for Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), Portsmouth, VA.

This requirement is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside and will result in a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) award.

Full specifications are provided in the attachment, along with Attachment B, which includes the Technical Capability Statement, and Attachment D1 and D2 for RFQ N4215826QE002.

To submit a valid quote, vendors must review the attachments in detail and submit the following:

1. A Capability Statement with the "YES" box checked in the capability section, and complete the certification section at the bottom.

2. A completed Request for Quote (RFQ) form (see attachment labeled RFQ N4215826QE002).

3. Technical specifications in the form of drawings, blueprints, or an equivalent.

The evaluation will be based on the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable approach.

Important Note. Quotes must be all-inclusive, covering shipping and any other associated costs. No additional charges will be accepted after award.
