    Description

    The Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound (FLCPS) is conducting market research to determine the availability and capability of qualified sources that can provide replacement parts for the Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly installed aboard U.S. Navy amphibious ships.

    Requirement

    The Government anticipates procuring various replacement components for the Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly. These components are required to support depot-level maintenance and restoration of the stern gate hydraulic system.

    The requirement includes, but is not limited to, the following Curtiss-Wright parts:

    • Tie Rod, Long – PF37164-3
    • Tie Rod, Short – PF37164-6
    • Piston Rod Assembly – PF37164-4/7/9/10/14
    • Rod End Head – PF37164-11
    • Packing Cap – PF37164-12
    • Hex Nut – PF37164-2
    • Socket Head Capscrews
    • Hex Head Bolts
    • Slide Plate Assemblies PD37179-1 and PD37179-2

    The required parts support the Curtiss-Wright Hydraulic Cylinders, Part Numbers PF37164 and PF37160, which comprise the Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly.

    • Are fully compatible with the existing Curtiss-Wright Stern Gate Hydraulic Assembly.

    • Are manufactured in accordance with the applicable Curtiss-Wright drawings and specifications or are otherwise authorized by Curtiss-Wright to manufacture or distribute the required parts.
    • Maintain the operational integrity and safety of the existing hydraulic system.
