1. This pre-solicitation notice is in accordance with FAR 5.101(c). This is not a Request for Quotation (RFQ), a Request for Proposal (RFP), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The Government is not soliciting quotes or proposals at this time.

2. Description:

The 60 MXS is requesting to purchase a Fortus 450MC Gen 3 System. The Stratasys, Fortus 450mc to alleviate critical bottlenecks in additive manufacturing and enhance operational capabilities.

3. Procedures for Award:

The Government intends to issue a Request for Quotation (RFQ) and award a firm-fixed-price Purchase Order. The award basis is anticipated to include Technical and Price.

7. Statement Regarding Responsible Sources: All responsible sources may submit a quotation, bid, or proposal, as appropriate, which will be considered by the agency.

8. Competitive Status: This is a noncompetitive action in accordance with FAR 5.101(c)(4)(vii). The intended source is GoEngineer (an official Stratasys reseller) due to their capability to provide sales, service, and support when needed to the Metals Technology section and any additional entities that require Stratasys products at Travis AFB.  Additionally, the proximity of their location assures that the period of performance is met.
