The requirement will be solicited as a total small business set aside. The NAICS code applicable to this procurement is 333618, Ball and Roller Bearing Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,250. The Product Service Code is 2010, Machinery & Components. The solicitation document incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2024-01 and DFARS Change Notice 01/22/2024.

Solicitation

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Contracting Division, intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed Price contract to procure a propeller shaft forward sleeve (LEVEL 1).

The assemblies are to be shipped to the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Portsmouth, Virginia 23709. 

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 333618. This procurement is set-aside for small businesses only. For boxes that weigh over 40lbs, the material must be palletized when arriving at Norfolk Naval Shipyard.
