SUPPLY OF (1) CARGO VAN

1. Purpose

The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to outline the requirements for the purchase and delivery of one (1) new cargo van. The van will be used by the American Embassy Mailroom Office, for the secure and efficient transportation of diplomatic mail.

2. Scope of Work

The contractor shall provide one (1) new cargo van that meets or exceeds the specifications outlined below. The van must be delivered to American Embassy San Salvador, Antiguo Cuscatlán, La Libertad, El Salvador and include all documentation, manuals, and warranties.

3. Technical Specifications

The cargo van must meet the following minimum requirements:

Cargo Area:

No windows in the cargo area (solid panels only).

Minimum cargo volume: 13 cubic meters (480 cubic feet).

Minimum cargo payload: 1,750 kg (3,800 lbs).

Seating: Driver plus two (2) additional occupants (total seating for three).

Other Features:

Transmission: Automatic transmission.

Climate Control: Air conditioning (A/C) for driver and front occupants.

Engine/Fuel: Diesel or gasoline engine (either is acceptable), 24.5-gal tank capacity

Engine: 4-Cylinder

Payload Capacity:3,814lbs

Cargo Volume: 488cu.ft..

Standing Height: 79in

Standard safety features (e.g., airbags, ABS brakes).

Power steering.

Central locking system.

4. Deliverables

One (1) new cargo van meeting the above specifications.

All keys, manuals, and warranty documentation.

Certificate of origin/title and registration documents as required by local law.

5. Delivery Schedule

Delivery must be completed within 45 days of contract award.

6. Acceptance Criteria

The vehicle will be inspected upon delivery to ensure compliance with all specifications.

Any deficiencies must be corrected by the contractor at no additional cost.

7. Payment Terms

Net 30 days, upon successful delivery and acceptance of the vehicle.
