SURFACE NAVY CURRICULUM AND TRAINING DEVICE DEVELOPMENT - N6134025R0043

he Naval Air Warfare Center Training System Division (NAWCTSD), Orlando, FL, is seeking information from potential sources providing full support of courseware/curriculum development, and new development/delivery or the modification of existing associated Training Device(s) (TD). The contract will focus on the Surface Navy’s Hull, Mechanical and Engineering (HM&E).  A sampling of tasking for HM&E includes: Firefighting and Damage Control; Navigation, Seamanship & Ship Handling Deck; Amphibious Warfare training; Littoral Combat Ship (LCS); Immersive Virtual Environment (IVE) Courseware; and, a subset of Live, Virtual, and Constructive Modeling and Simulation (LVCMS). This effort will support the following customers: PMS-339, Surface Warfare Officers School (SWOS), and various Surface Navy Organizations. 

This is a SOURCES SOUGHT TECHNICAL DESCRIPTION to determine the availability and technical capability of small businesses (including the following subsets HUBZone Small Business concerns; Certified 8(a) Small Business concerns, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concerns, Woman-Owned Small Business concerns) to provide the required products and/or services; and therefore the results will be utilized to determine the Government’s acquisition strategy.
