This acquisition is for a Firm Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract for the manufacture and delivery of NSN 4130-01-425-5357 Filter Drier, Refrigerant. This item is coded sole source to multiple approved sources:
The solicitation number is SPE8EG-25-Q-0002 and will be awarded under FAR 13.5 procedures. The acquisition will be accomplished using Other than Full and Open Competition procedures in accordance with FAR 13.501(a), Sole Source Acquisition. The solicitation will provide for one contract. The resultant contract will contain a one-year base period and four 1-year option periods of one year. The contract maximum will be $7,500,000.00.
Delivery will be FOB Origin. The Government required delivery schedule will be 300 days after date of order. The Buy American Act clauses will apply.
FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and FAR Part 13.5, Simplified Procedures for Certain Commercial Items procedures will apply. Price Only will be the evaluation factor.
This synopsis should not be considered a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or an Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice.
The estimated release date of the solicitation is March 18, 2025. The date is subject to change.
