This is a Notice of Intent to Award a Sole Source Contract in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).
3.Contracting Action
The Government intends to issue a firm-fixed-price (FFP) purchase order for the procurement of five(5)fully enclosed side-by-side utility vehicles to support the Bomber Instrumentation mission atEdwards Air Force Base.
4.Description of Requirement
This requirement is for the purchase of utility vehicles with the following specifications:
•Enclosed cab with heating and air conditioning
•Fully enclosed weatherproof cargo bed (min. 36” x 45”) with load capacity over 580 lbs
•Up to five-passenger seating, engine ≤ 1000cc
•Safety features: Turn signals, horn, winch, mirrors (FMVSS compliant)
•Operable on paved and unpaved surfaces
•Vehicles must be LSV (Low-Speed Vehicle) approved by Vehicle Management
These vehicles will be used to transport engineers, technicians, and sensitive instrumentation equipment across Edwards AFB flight line and remote sites. Only MacGyver Solutions, Inc. can meet
these unique configuration requirements within the required delivery timeframe and without introducing unacceptable mission delays.

6. Delivery Schedule
Delivery is required within 30 days After Award of Order.
7. Statutory Authority
This acquisition is conducted under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) — Soliciting from a Single Source — as only one responsible source is capable of providing the supplies that will satisfy agency requirements.
